Grayslake Illinois Antique “Flea Market”
July 13 & 14, 2019
The antique flea market this month will host the annual “Postcard & Paper” show! Vendors and collectors from around the country will be showcasing their finest in antique and vintage postcards, photos, paper, lithographs, and ephemera.
You’ll also find items such as country furniture, primitives, vintage clothing, mid century modern, serving pieces, estate jewelry, antiques, collectibles, coins, garden decor, advertising collectibles, military, fine artwork, and more!
This is a special event that is held at the Lake County Fairgrounds expo center! It is a great show for both the beginning and the advanced collector. There is something for everyone, for the cottage or to take back home with you. A perfect opportunity to start a new collection or add a hard to find special piece to a collection you already have.
The Grayslake Illinois Antique “Flea” Market will be held at the Lake County Fairgrounds July 13 & 14, 2019. Saturday 9-4 & Sunday 9-3. Admission is $7 per adult. Children 12 years and younger free with adult. Free parking.

The study and collecting of postcards is called “deltiology.” Postcards were first printed in the 19th century, but it took some time for them to gain in popularity; many people did not like the idea of writing notes which anyone could read! The value of old postcards is dependent on a number of factors, including their condition, rarity, age, and subject matter.
