Pop Culture is in high demand again this year at the Annual Chicago Pop Culture Con, November 24th & 25th at the Pheasant Run Mega Center & Ballroom in St. Charles, Illinois!

Thousands of pop culture treasures will be offered for sale for every collector’s buying pleasure! Comics, toys, gaming, sci-fi and so much more! It’s all at the Chicago Pop Culture Con!

The weekend will be packed with displays, memorabilia and special guests. Pop Culture Con is a multi-genre convention of comics, toys, gaming, sci-fi, Legos, TV/movie memorabilia, superheroes, Steampunk, action figures, animé, Cosplay, fantasy, horror, sports memorabilia, vintage music, publishers and artists – anything fan-related!

Take a look at just a few of the long list of special guests already lined up for this fantastic event*:

  • ATHLETES, including: Pro Wrestler Steve Michaels, retired Chicago Bulls player Craig Hodges, former Chicago Bears Linebacker Jim Morrissey
  • The Doctor Strange Archive, collection of Marvel Doctor Strange collectibles, including posters, art, statues, cards, books, figures, toys and much more.
  • Chicago POC Cosplayers Cosplay Group, a group from different culture backgrounds on a mission to show that cosplay is for everyone.
  • The Age of the Geeks Cosplay Group, Chicago Chapter.
  • Deadgear’s Dark Coffin Classics, a horror/comedy television show that airs in Wisconsin & other parts of the country.
  • ACTOR Butch Patrick, former child start who is perhaps best known for his role as child werewolf Eddie Munster on the CBS comedy television series The Munstersfrom 1964 to 1966 and in the 1966 feature film Munster, Go Home, and as Mark on the ABC Saturday morning series, Lidsvillefrom 1971 to 1973.
  • ARTIST Jeremy Clark. Over the span of his career he has penciled &/or inked cover work for Zenescope Entertainment, Coffin Comics, Counterpoint Comics, Caliber Comics, No Gravity Studios, RIA Comics and Gin-Ryu which is currently featured on Amazon books.
  • ACTOR/GOTHIC ILLUSIONIST Ron Fitzgerald, Master of the Dark Realm.
  • The Horror & SciFi Prop Preservation Association traveling museum of screen used movie props and wardrobes.
  • MUSICIANS Face Time Police. The multi-faceted acoustic masked duo, Face Time Police, is ready to bring some masks and music to the Chicago Pop Culture Con! FTP draws inspiration from all over the pop culture spectrum: pro-wrestling, anime, comics, and video games have all played a part in shaping the band’s direction.
  • MAGICIAN/ILLUSIONIST Vincenzo Badalamenti, a young magician who intertwines comedy and magic.
  • AUTHOR Phil Hore, Paleo-Author for the Prehistoric Times Magazine and Education Manager at Australia’s National Dinosaur Museum. He will be signing copies of his first novel, The Order of the Dragon.
  • MUSICIANS Richie Ramone – drummer for the punk band The Ramones – and CJ Ramone – bassist for The Ramones.
  • PLUS many, many more – artists, authors, cosplay groups, illustrators, radio personalities, performing artists, publishers – you name it! There will be something to appeal to every fan group!

 

Chicago Pop Culture Con hours are Saturday, November 24, 9am-6pm, and Sunday, November 25, 9am-3pm. Admission is $12 and is good for both days. Children 12 & under are free with an adult. Parking is free.
