His credits include Spider-Man\, Venom\, Carnage\, Black Panther\, The Avengers\, Star Wars\, X-Men and more. At DC Comics he worked on Superman\, Batman\, Green Lantern\, Star Trek\, Firestorm and others. In 1989 he worked on the 1st and 2nd Predator comic books for Dark Horse Comics. Sam’s work on VENOM LETHAL PROTECTOR #1-6 is the main basis for the VENOM MOVIE. The VENOM: Let There Be CARNAGE movie is based on MAXIMUM CARNAGE\, another popular storyline Sam worked on. His Venom Lethal Protector #1 cover has been produced as a Funko PoP! \n \n\n\nCollectorabilia Saturday April 4\, 2026 welcomes Matt Hissem and his DeLorean Time Machine! \nThis is a close home built representation of the DeLorean time machine from the movie Back to the Future part 2. I bought this stock DeLorean from Michigan in 2013 and needed a full frame-off restoration which took 7months. By the spring of 2015 I had completed the time machine conversion with the help of a co-worker that was on the team of guys who restored the original DeLorean time machine from the movie. All the parts on the car represent the parts on the movie car and are to the same scale but are not identical. The whole time machine build is done in a way that is non destructive to the car. No holes were drilled into the car to mount the time machine hardware\, so it can be brought back to stock condition. I had the opportunity in February of 2016 at the Riverside Theater in Milwaukee to meet Christopher Lloyd who played “Doc” in the movie where he signed the passenger sun visor. Over the past few years\, I have been able to update some of the time machine hardware parts to a more movie accurate state. He is also known for his role in George Lucas’s Willow\, as an Ewok in Return of the Jedi\, and as the Preacher in Tim Burton’s Beetlejuice. \n \nTom Cook– (Artist- Scooby Do\, He-Man\, Smurfs) \nTom began his career as an animator and artistic director in 1978 at Hanna-Barbera Studios where he was hired to work as an assistant animator on Challenge of the SuperFriends\, Godzilla\, Scooby Doo\, Smurfs\, Pacman and the Flintstones. A short stop at Ruby-Spears had him working on Thundarr the Barbarian (had the privilege to meet and work with Jack Kirby)\, Heathcliff\, Fang Face and Plastic Man. Freelancing at Film Roman he worked on the Garfield Special Babes and Bullets and for Bill Melendez on the Peanuts Special This is America Charlie Brown. He then moved over to Filmation Studios in 1980\, which at this point had become the only animation studio doing animation in the United States\, and worked on Tarzan\, Flash Gordon\, Blackstar\, Fat Albert and the Cosby Kids\, Brown Hornet\, He-Man and the Masters of the Universe\, She-Ra Princess of Power\, Ghostbusters\, Lone Ranger\, Zorro\, The Kids Super Power Hour with Shazam (Captain Marvel)\, Hero High and the futuristic Western Bravestarr. He was also involved with many TV commercials such as The Jolly Green Giant\, Chevrolet\, and the 7 Up Spot campaign. He then became the timing director on Road Rovers\, Disney’s Mighty Ducks\, PB & J Otter\, Duckman\, King of the Hill\, Savage Dragon\, HBO’s Happily Ever After Fairy Tales\, Extreme Ghostbusters\, Extreme Dinosaurs and many more. Encouraged by relatives and friends\, he moved to Los Angeles at age 18. He began taking classes at the Merrick Studio School of Acting with Scriptwriter De De Tillman and soon began working in commercials\, film\, and television roles. He is better known for his roles in Bad Santa where he played Marcus\, the brains of a safe cracking duo\, and in Date Movie where he played a parody of Dr. Hitch from Hitch. Cox reprised his role as Marcus in Bad Santa 2\, released in 2016. \nCox also appeared on the TV show Martin in the first season\, playing the character Bennie\, in which he helps his friend Trey\, played by Bushwick Bill\, beat up Tommy played by Thomas Mikal Ford\, over Tommy allegedly “stealing” his ex-girlfriend. \nCox also appeared in a pivotal role in the Farrelly Brothers’ movie Me\, Myself & Irene\, playing a Mensa International-member limousine driver who steals Jim Carrey‘s character’s wife. \nThe ewok Tony Cox played was later named Willy in The Battle for Endor\, and Widdle in the Ewok Adventure. Willy has white (or very light) fur on the cheeks and he is the brother of Wicket W. Warrick.
